设想一下建筑与科技相互交融的场景，那时将会产生各种各样的创造未来的途径。作为2017年荷兰设计周的代表，Winy Maas与MVRDV、The Why Factory、埃因霍温市政府、埃因霍温理工大学（TU Eindhoven）以及荷兰设计周共同策展了四个致力于探索未来城市的项目，其中包括The Why Factory的The Future City is Wide视听展；堪称明星建筑师指南的Copy Paste新书发布；(W)ego，一个九米高的可居住装置；ICI Eindhoven带来的有关于埃因霍温未来的题为“Here we come”的大师班和展览以及一系列对“埃因霍温人要的是什么？”这一问题进行探讨的工作坊。

Imagine a scenario where Architecture exchanges metaphors with Science, and in doing so, a shift in perspective occurs that allows for multiple ways to create future visions. As an ambassador of Dutch Design Week 2017, Winy Maas curates with MVRDV, The Why Factory, Gemeente Eindhoven, TU Eindhoven and Dutch Design Week four interventions exploring the future of cities. Products of the future city in The Future City is Wide by The Why Factory, Copy Paste, a bad ass guide for becoming a Starchitect, (W)ego, a 9 meter high, habitable installation and ICI Eindhoven: Here we come about the future of the city of Eindhoven, with workshops on the question: What do the Eindhovenaars want?

(W)ego装置|The (W)ego installation

(W)ego包含9个房间，为一个有限的空间注入了理想化且个人化的观点。在面对他人的理想时，使用者必须学会相互妥协。如何保卫自己的理想？使用者们开始与他人协作，以某种方式共同创造一些更加美好的事物。随着周围人事物的介入和磨合，人们会感受到“隔壁”正在发生一些有趣的事。为什么不去拜访一下你的邻居？如此一来，“Ego”（自我）便成为了“Wego”（众我）。

In this installation, nine rooms are made to fulfil these idealistic but egoistic perspectives in a limited space. When confronted with the dreams of others, users must learn to negotiate with each other. How to defend your ideals? Users start to work with and around eachother and, somehow, together create something that is even nicer. And with the surrounding intrusions and negotiations, one begins to feel that something interesting is happening ‘next door.’ Why not visit your neighbour? Thus, Ego becomes Wego.

The (W)ego installation represents a frozen moment in the living and flexible (W)ego vision. In (W)ego a research platform from The Why Factory, future urban dwellings are capable of adapting in real time to the users’ needs. This vision is detailed in a film that plays in one of the rooms of (W)ego. (W)ego shows that evolutionary and flexible architecture is possible. That the most perfect situation can be achieved at every moment, leading to an even more optimal use of our limited urban space.

Infinite办公桌|Infinite Table

Infinite办公桌是由MVRDV设计的新产品，旨在消除办公桌设计中的多余事物。Infinite办公桌拥有一个连续的表面，为使用者提供了无限的可能性。桌子对空间进行了水平的划分，其模块化的结构源自于对灵活性和合作性的考量，与传统孤立的办公空间形成了对立。该桌子最初是为MVRDV House而设计，致力于创造更具协作性和多元化的工作环境，适用于任何尺寸的现代办公空间。

The Infinite Table is a new product by MVRDV seeking to remove the surplus from work table design. Designed as one continuous surface with limitless possibilities, the table becomes the product of a horizontal division of space and modular configuration inspired by a concept of flexibility and collaboration as opposed to individualised and old-fashioned traditional workspaces. The initial concept for the table began with the quest to furnish the new MVRDV House with archetypal tables that allow for a more collaborative working environment and accommodates the practices’ growth with different work set-ups in the varied office space. The infinite table is an economical solution for the contemporary workspace at any given size or length.
