项目坐落于苏黎世乌伊蒂孔镇(Uitikon)的住宅区，是一栋二层并带有地下室的家庭公寓住宅。项目的业主是一位具有意大利血统的建筑商。业主希望在最大化利用场地的情况下，使项目兼顾灵活性，私密性，使室内具有良好的景观视野，用有限的预算达到最理想的效果。项目旨在创造一个宛如宫殿的豪华住宅。

Giovanni – The family house with a 2.5 room annex apartment is located in a residential area of Uitikon. The builder with Italian roots wanted to use a maximum area of the plot. Other important aspects are flexibility of use, privacy, views and the need for representation on a limited budget. A house in the spirit of a palazzo.

“Piano Nobile”是宫殿式住宅的代表性元素，通常指住宅中的主要楼层，是古典文艺复兴时期的建筑风格之一。由于“Piano Nobile”位于较高的楼层，因此显得更为尊贵庄严，同时满足了居住者对私密性的需求。住宅立面比例和谐，且明确地区分出房间的使用功能，比如，开窗高度不同的房间功能也不同。建筑采用了传统的结构，并以当代的设计语言表达了出来。

An essential feature of a palazzo is the Piano Nobile. Due to its location on the upper floor, it appears distinguished and sublime and at the same time offers sufficient privacy. The differentiation of the proportions, such as the higher windows, indicate the representative use. The structure of the building takes up traditional typological elements, which are translated into a contemporary language.
