dotcom coffee选址青岛崂山区千水千月广场海边，位于海滩触手可及的位置。这里的海滩矗立着巨大的礁石，海浪激荡。广场上现有两幢沿中轴对称分布的建筑，店铺选用改造了其中之一。建筑的原始结构为钢结构，平面形状呈不规则变形虫形态。

Dotcom Coffee chose its site at a seaside square in Qingdao, Laoshan District, where the shore is at its fingertips. Here, giant rocks stand along the coast, waves rage. There are two buildings existing on the site, placed symmetrically along the square’s axis. The shop chose and readapted one of them. Its original structure is steel. Its shape, an irregular amoeba-like form.

龙工作室受邀以建筑的视角出发，重新构建建筑空间和表皮。空间家具和陈设由石卷工房提供，因此这里也是国内首个石卷工房产品的体验中心。

Atelier Loong was invited to reconstruct the building’s space and skin, departing from the perspective of architecture. Interior furniture and objects are provided by the Ishinomaki Laboratory, thus making this the first experience center for Ishinomaki products.

面对建筑表皮二维曲面的形态，我们选择了玻璃砖和曲面玻璃作为建筑外表皮的主要材料。其中，中空的玻璃砖在兼具保温和适当私密性要求的情况下，允许大量的自然光线进入建筑内空间。玻璃砖的砌筑灰缝形成的网格肌理也赋予建筑外表皮新的特征。精巧的玻璃砖内部结构，使光线穿透的时候产生折射，将图像打碎，形成一个低像素感觉的特殊透镜。玻璃砖界面提供了一个光线的载体和容器，白天把来自于自然界的光线引入空间内部，晚上又把内部人工光回馈给海岸。

Faced against the two-dimensional curved surface of the building, we’ve chosen glass brick and curved glass as the main materials for the skin of the building. Among them, the hollow glass bricks, while meeting the demand for insulation and privacy, let in massive amount of natural light into the interior. The mesh pattern formed by the mortar joint of glass bricks bestows a new feature on the building’s outer skin. The delicate interior construct of the glass bricks refracts light as it comes in, shatters images, and becomes a kind of low-pixel lens. The glass brick surface provides: during the day, conducting light from the natural world into the space, and at night, returning artificial light back to the coast.

同时面向特定的景观方向，在建筑表皮设置了大面积的景窗，采用透明曲面玻璃封闭。通透的窗户在引入外部景观的同时，与存在感更强的玻璃砖一起，实现建筑外皮的虚实对比关系。

Toward specific view directions, large window openings are placed on the skin of the building, enclosed by clear curved glass. The transparent windows, while introducing views from outside, together with the glass bricks, which have a stronger sense of presence, establish a solid/void contrast on the surface of the building.

空间内部的天花采用了镜面反射不锈钢，对于空间的高度进行了镜像加倍。在景窗的位置亦是如此，天空中反射出了海滩的镜像。

The interior ceiling employs stainless steel with mirror finish, doubling the height of the space. Same for the view windows, reflecting images of the shore in the sky.

建筑内部是流动式的自由空间布局。开放式吧台正对空间入口，促进咖啡师与客人交流沟通。建筑中心位置设置了一个由空心内齿亚克力管围合出的核心空间。作为私密性更高的区域，这里将作为视听室使用。细密、平行的亚克力管形成了第二层光线的过滤，在内部人工照明的作用下像一个灯笼。

The interior of the architecture is a free, flowing space arrangement. The open bar counter faces the space’s entrance, promoting communication between baristas and guests. A core space enveloped by acrylic tubes lined with inner gears is placed in the center of the architecture. As an area with a higher level of privacy, it will be used as an audio-visual space. The fine and dense parallel acrylic tubes complete a second filtering of light. Behaving like a lantern under the effect of artificial lighting inside.

空间的地面采用抛光混凝土，胶东本地出产的石岛红花岗岩作为骨料加入其中，使地面整体呈现微微的暖色调。整个空间呈现出轻盈、自然和宁静的氛围。

The floor of the space uses polished concrete. Red granite from the local Jiaodong, Shidao area, was added to the mixture as aggregate material, giving the ground an overall slightly warm color tone. The whole space renders an airy, natural, and serene atmosphere.
