Shira Keret is a Tel Aviv based product designer that incorporates traditional crafts and cultural observations into her work process. She explores a variety of materials such as Stone, Glass, Metal, Wood and more.
Her main passion is manipulating materials and technologies into creating experimental design objects.
Shira (Israel, 1984) studied for B.des degree at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and did a semester abroad at the politecnico, Milano, graduating in 2010.
Her works have been presented in museums and galleries in Israel and around the world.
Shira is also a founding member of the design collective Four’n’five.
She works on self-initiated and commissioned projects and as a curator of design exhibitions.
