r2k is an architecture firm based in Grenoble, building throughout France according to public competitions won. The agency focuses on bio-based and ecological projects, and are pioneers in wood construction and bio-based insulation.

r2k has garnered international exposure thanks to the presence of Olavi Koponen, r2k's co-manager and a native of Finland who has been based in Grenoble for 12 years. The agency is attentive to and thinks deeply about new pedagogies for children and inhabitants. After winning a competition, the agency's next school project, “Ecole de demain”, will take place in Haute Savoie, France.
