Erik L’Heureux, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is a celebrated American architect and educator who has a special interest in designing for the dense equatorial city. He has received several design awards for his work including a 2017 and 2016 Society of Registered Architects Design Award, 2013 WAF Category Design Award, 2013 FuturArc Green Leadership Architecture Award, 2012 AIA New York City Design Award, 2011 President’s Design Award from Singapore, and two AIA New York State Design Awards in 2009 and 2007 respectively. In addition, Erik was awarded with the Wheelwright Prize from Harvard University in 2015 for expanding his research on architecture and the equatorial city across the globe.
