Paco Marqués graduated in architecture from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla in 2001. After a period of training working as a collaborator in various studios, he established his own office in 2007.
His work is characterized by an attentive approach to the place, as well as the search for a certain balance between familiarity and estrangement, continuity and singularity.
Among his built works, the most notable are the House in Beas, winner of the COAH Architecture Prize in its 12th edition; the House in Valdegrosa, special mention in the 19th edition; the Residential Building in Campo de la Verdad, winner of the 16th Félix Hernández Prize; and the Sports Pavilion on the Isla de la Cartuja, selected by the architecture guide Sevilla Contemporánea: Arquitectura 2000-2010.
Since 2016, he has been collaborating regularly with Luis Rubio Marín and Rosalino Daza.
