For me art is the expression of colour through minimalist compositions, where the principal element is colour, the main principal in my work, I try to do "more with less". My work is an expression of feelings and sensations.
Sometime with the paper and acrylic, this combination gives a special texture and aspect that I am seeking for in these compositions. I try layering acrylic to a final colour that then predominates in the composition.
Other times with acrylic on canvas, is the interest for the expansion of the hard-edge surface, like characteristic of my minimal art. Flirting with the metaphor of an optical game that suggests places, urban areas or light bright-colored landscapes, thus overcoming the tautology of the painting as a representation of himself
