Cubo was founded in Aarhus in 1992 by architects Peter Dalsgaard, Bo Lautrup, Lars Juel Thiis and Ib Valdemar on the basis of a number of winning architectural competitions. Competition is still an essential development parameter for the studio, as the sharpening force of competition insists on innovation and promotes creativity.
