Atelier Gegeben was founded in Hangzhou by Dr. Quanquan Liu and Mr. Shengdi Fu in 2018. The two co-founders graduated respectively from departments of architecture and mathematics, both with Chinese and German educational backgrounds.
The German word “gegeben” comes from a mathematical term which in English means “given”. The logo of "Atelier Gegeben" depicts a space ship flying in the endless dark space. It symbolizes the journey of flying from the known world to the unknown.
