广州石牌村是广州最大也是历史最长的城中村，位于繁华的天河区中部，由村民宅基地扩展起来的密集建筑群（俗称“握手楼”），及部分自留地构成。调研从空间观感与体验出发，深入石牌村的空间肌理，由表象推想逻辑，进行产业分析的同时体察着这里周遭的生活环境和人们的生活状态，结合居民的行为方式提出“开放住宅”的概念改造设想。
Shipai Village is the biggest urban village in the bustling Tianhe district,Guangzhou.It was composed of dense buildings by homestead extension and some private plots.The researcher lays emphasis on spatial perception and spatial experience.At the same time,he went deep into the spatial tissue.From phenomenon to logic,researcher observing the environment and animation of the people while analysing the industries of Shipai Village.The researcher put forward a conceptual plan namd”Open Community”of reconstruction.
