Zest美发沙龙新店位于新晋网红建筑中，这栋由法国著名建筑大师让·努维尔设计的建筑（千红花钵道，上海 / 让·努维尔）延续了法国浪漫主义建筑师的风格。建筑外观丰富奇特引人注目，立面拥有夸张的结构造型，爬满了绿植，内部中庭由丰富纹理的红色全覆盖，视觉效果可谓震撼，令人过目不忘。

The new Zest hair salon is located in Shanghai’s latest Internet celebrity building, which was designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel. (The street of 1000 red jars, Shanghai, China by Jean Nouvel) The building has a rich and unusual appearance, which is striking. The facade has an exaggerated structural shape, covered with green plants, and the inner atrium is covered with red texture. The visual effect is shocking and unforgettable.

在这栋充满热烈表情的建筑里，Zest以低调冷静的姿态悄然入驻，Zest年轻、极富生命力的气质和这栋建筑极其契合，亦热情洋溢亦冷静收敛，仿佛两个平行世界中的空间不经意地碰撞，重叠在一起，一边是火焰一边是冰山，银灰色的Zest在赤红色的旭辉天地中既冲突又融合。

In this building full of enthusiastic expressions, Zest quietly enters with a low-key and calm attitude. The young and vibrant temperament of Zest is very much in line with this building, both enthusiastic and calm convergence, as if the space in two parallel worlds inadvertently collide. Overlapping, with flames on one side and icebergs on the other, collide and merge.

选址 | Site Selection

2020年秋，设计师接到Z-zest业主的设计委托，为其在上海新天地旭辉天地商场中的新店挑选理想的位置。如何在一栋极其独特的建筑里成为更加独特的存在，是设计师思考的首要问题，因此设计团队把室内设计工作前置，参与选址。设计师认为新的场地不应以面积取胜，而是要足够独特，要四两拨千斤，才会瞬间被人记住。所以在现场勘查后，毅然决然选择了极为狭长的“奇葩户型”。在使用面积约100平米的场地里，却拥有长达30米面长的落地窗，超大面积的落地玻璃好似生动的橱窗，让来往的客人快速记住，未来是这里或将成为上海最长的沙龙秀场。

In the fall of 2020, the designer received a design commission from the owner of Z-Zest to select the ideal location for its new store in Shanghai Xintiandi Xuhui World Mall. How to become a more unique presence in a very unique building is the primary problem for designers to think about, so the design team put the interior design work ahead and participated in the site selection.The designer believes that the new site should not be won by size, but should be unique enough to be instantly remembered. So in the scene after the investigation, decided to choose a very long and narrow special site.In the use area of about 100 square meters of the site, but has as long as 30 meters long floor-to-ceiling Windows, oversized floor-to-ceiling glass like a vivid window, let the guests to remember quickly, the future is here or will become the longest Shanghai salon show.

色彩 | Colour

法国建筑师让·努尔设计的红色建筑本身非常具有强烈的视觉识别性和张力，色彩极其大胆，靠近街道的区域是融入周边建筑的米灰色外墙，外立面有一个个花瓶般的造型装饰，绿意葱葱与周边的法国梧桐融合。中庭则是具有中国风的红色内核，热烈、秩序、摩登。Zest的所有设计中都是围绕中庭的色彩展开，整个室内采用了与中庭整个色调相互映衬的底色——金属色、水泥色，冷静、丰富、时尚。Zest发型师们的作品在中性色的衬托下，饱和度更高、色彩更鲜明、显色更真实。

The red building itself has a strong visual identity and tension, and the color is extremely bold. The area near the street is the beige exterior wall of the surrounding buildings, which is decorated with vases, and the green is integrated with the surrounding Sycamol trees. The atrium is a Chinese style red core, warm and modern.All of Zest’s designs revolve around the colors of the atrium. The whole interior uses the background colors that set off with the overall colors of the atrium — metallic, cement, calm and fashionable. Zest hair stylists’ work is more saturated, vivid and realistic in those neutral colors.

动线 | Movement

设计师故意把客人动线拉长，设置了双向线型动线。所有客人由商场扶梯到达B1走廊后，先必先走过店铺那30米长的“橱窗”，才能到达入口。“橱窗”里一字排开的座椅上美女们纷纷落座，通长的镜子遮住了脸颊，唯露着高跟鞋的纤纤玉腿，留有高度想象空间的画面占据着“橱窗”，同她们身后流动的人影，共同构成一部无声电影，闪动着不期而遇的火花。

The designer set the two-way linear line in order to stretched the guest line. After arriving at corridor B1 through the escalator of the mall, all guests must first walk through the 30-meter-long “window” of the store before arriving at the entrance. “Window” in a row of seats on the beautiful women have taken a seat, the long mirror covered the cheek, only showing high heels of the slender jade leg, the picture that has high imagination space occupy “window”, with their behind the flow of figures, constitute a silent film , flashing unexpected sparks.

Zest的入口处正对着公共走廊挑台，设计师特意在此设计了座椅，保留路人驻足停留的最大可能性。设计师认为只有人才会更吸引人，正如丹麦建筑师扬盖尔在《交往与空间》一书中所说——“真正好的建筑和规划必然满足理想社会结构和物质结构完美结合的条件,才能更好地促进活动的产生，只有人才更吸引人。”

The entrance of Zest faces to the public walkway, where the designer has designed seats to leave the maximum possibility for passers-by to stop. Designers believe that only people can be more attractive. As The Danish architect Jan Gael said in his book Communication and Space, “really good architecture and planning must meet the conditions for the perfect combination of ideal social structure and material structure, so as to better promote the generation of activities. only people can be more attractive.”

布局 | Layout

Zest在平面布局上延续常用的线形布局，所有美发座椅一字线形排开。设计师把洗发区这个所有人的必经之地设置在店铺最深处，让每一个客人都须穿越整个店铺才能来到目的地，来回的穿梭搅动着店内的气流，在清冷色彩的店铺中人气满满，俨然T台走秀场。

Zest continues the usual linear layout in the plane layout, with all the hair chairs arranged in a linear line. The designer designed the hair washing area, which everyone must pass through, in the deepest part of the space hole, so that every customer has to go through the whole store to reach the destination. The shuttling back and forth stirred the air flow in the store, and the cool tone store was full of people, just like a runway.

店铺分为三大垮，总长30米。面朝外部走廊的部分具有连续性和完整性。但内部空间进深各有异性，在实际使用面积不足100平米的店铺中，设计师根据业主需求，设置了休息区、前台区，打卡墙，水吧咖啡区，调配区，烫染区，护理区，理发区，洗发区，员工休息区。客人储物区等十几个功能区域。

The shop is divided into three big collapse, a total length of 30 meters. The section facing the external corridor has continuity and integrity. However, there are different types of interior Spaces. In the store with an actual usable area of less than 100 square meters, designers set up more than a dozen functional areas, such as rest area, reception area, punch wall, water bar and coffee area, blending area, hot dyeing area, care area, barber area, hair washing area, staff rest area and customer storage area, according to the needs of owners.

设计师将主入口设置在第一垮，原本主入口处最为难处理的弧形墙面，配上软膜天花的照明，水泥色墙面顺势成为拍照的背景底色。绕弧而坐的定制卡座，为等候的客人提供片刻休息之处，同时咖啡区也相邻为伴；第二、第三垮作为烫染区和护理区，两段接近18米长的悬浮台面暗藏各种机关，一并解决客人及发型师的所有使用需求；店铺最深处是洗发区，一块大面积的金色弧形多孔板屏风保证了该区域的私密性。

The designer set the main entrance in the first row, the original main entrance of the most difficult to deal with the arc wall, with soft film ceiling lighting, cement color wall becomes the background color of the photo. Customised booths sit around an arc, providing a place for waiting guests to take a break, while the cafe area is adjacent.The second and third sections are used as the hot dyeing area and the nursing area. The two sections are close to 18 meters long floating table, which hides various organs to meet all the needs of guests and hairstylists.

设计师本着尊重场地的原则，在满足业主的需求的前提下，开发其所有潜能，赋予空间新的表情。更是创造了室内空间与整个周边环境新的对应关系。

In line with the principle of respecting the site, we develop its full potential and give the space a new expression while meeting the needs of the owner. It also creates a new correspondence between the interior space and the whole surrounding environment.

细节 | Detail

新店在设计中非常注重细节——客人的储物箱可以手机遥控开锁；在烫染区的悬浮台面左右俩侧均提供USB电源插座，台面内部设计了可抽拉的小桌板，放置手机或平板电脑，以便客人在长达数小时的美发过程中，看电影玩游戏打发时间，同时也能放置咖啡和零食；另有可放置吹风机的小抽屉也一并隐藏其中。

The new store has been designed with great attention to detail, with lockers that can be unlocked by mobile phone; USB power sockets are provided on the left and right sides of the floating table in the dyeing area. Inside the table, there is a small table that can be drawn and placed for mobile phone or iPad, so that guests can pass the time watching movies and playing games during the hours of hair dressing. At the same time, coffee and snacks can also be placed. The small drawer that can place hair dryer additionally also hides at the same time among them.

在灯光的设计上，设计师采用了显色更为真实的可以调控的光源，并设置了柔光照明，为各位爱拍照的姐姐妹妹们的美拍助一臂之力。凭借多年的良好口碑传播，Zest积累了大量的忠实会员，设计师建议在商业运营中可以尝试创立自己的咖啡品牌，为此，在接待区设置了咖啡展示，为将来能够孵化出更多元产品奠定了基础。

In the light design, the designer used a more real color can be adjusted light source, and set the soft light lighting. With years, Zest has accumulated a large number of members, the designer suggested that in the business operation can try to create their own coffee brand. To this end, there is a coffee display in the reception area, laying the foundation for the incubation of more diverse products in the future.
