作为风靡全球的科技饰品品牌，PopSockets泡泡骚邀请Yatofu操刀设计其位于上海的全球首家线下零售空间。Yatofu从品牌的产品特质与用户体验中汲取灵感，发现人们探索喜爱的泡泡骚产品的过程，宛如一场考古发掘之旅，充满未知与惊喜。这一发现成为设计的起点，我们希望将这种探索感具象化，赋予空间一种独特的叙事性与沉浸感。

PopSockets, one of the most popular and well-loved phone accessory brands worldwide, invited Yatofu to design its first ever physical retail space. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s distinctive products and the user’s exploratory journey, Yatofu discovered that the process of uncovering one’s favourite PopSockets item mirrors an archaeological excavation—full of curiosity and surprise. This realization became the foundation of the design, transforming this sense of exploration into a tangible and immersive spatial experience.

经过深入研究，设计团队提出“未来化石”的概念，将空间塑造为一个充满想象的考古现场，让人们在这个兼具趣味性与时尚感的环境中，发掘当下与未来的泡泡骚“化石”。这种探索的体验，不仅成为空间与品牌故事的交汇点，更激发了使用者与产品之间的互动与情感联结。

Through initial research and ideation, the design team proposed the concept of the “Future Fossil,” shaping the space as an imaginative excavation site where visitors uncover the “fossils” of the present and future. This journey of discovery not only bridges the brand’s narrative with the physical space but also fosters a deeper emotional connection between the users and the products.

在设计手法上，Yatofu借鉴考古发掘的层次感与解构性，将空间逐层掏空，挖掘出负形，从而定义功能分区。这种如同岩石开采般的空间塑造方式，使人们在不同角度和路径中，都能感受到丰富而立体的空间体验。主材选用了粉色水磨石，其柔美质感与PopSockets的品牌个性相呼应，也为空间注入一抹独特且鲜明的视觉语言。产品展示区域以下，设计团队采用藻绿色金属材质，打造出犹如矿石挖掘场中散落的巨型石块，这些形态各异的展示装置，不仅承载展示与储物功能，更与水磨石材质形成强烈对比，营造出层次丰富且充满张力的视觉景观。

Inspired by the stratified process of excavation, the design adopts a subtractive approach—carving out negative forms layer by layer to define functional zones. This method of shaping the space, reminiscent of rock quarrying, creates a dynamic and multidimensional experience from different angles and perspectives. The primary material of pink terrazzo was chosen for its smooth, polished quality and warm visual softness, echoing the playfulness and vibrancy of the PopSockets brand while establishing a distinct and memorable visual identity. Below the product display line, algae green metal elements take the form of scattered, monolithic “stones,” reminiscent of an excavation site’s unearthed boulders. These striking forms serve both display and storage functions, offering a rich contrast to the terrazzo and adding visual tension and depth to the space.

此外，Yatofu为PopSockets创新性地设计了一套全新的产品展示与收纳系统。这个系统不仅延续了空间设计语言的完整性，更鼓励顾客去触摸、尝试与探索产品，为线下零售体验注入更多互动性与趣味性。

Yatofu also designed an innovative product display and storage system exclusively for PopSockets products. The gridded storage solution showcases the PopSockets grips on the exterior, while concealing the product inventory behind each product door. This system not only maintains the coherency of the space’s design language but also encourages visitors to touch, experiment with, and explore the products—enhancing the interactive and experiential aspects of the retail environment.

自上海首家门店落成后，Yatofu继续与PopSockets合作，打造了北京太古里、北京国贸、成都太古里、杭州万象城、广州天环等多家零售空间。每一座门店在延续“未来化石”概念的同时，也结合不同城市的文化与场域特质，进一步丰富了品牌线下零售体验的多元性与独特性。

Following the completion of the concept store in Shanghai, Yatofu continued its collaboration with PopSockets, designing additional retail spaces in several locations across China—including Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou. Each location carries forward the “Future Fossil” concept while thoughtfully responding to the cultural and contextual nuances of its respective city—enriching the brand’s offline retail presence with both diversity and distinction.
