Appreciation towards Pan xiao yang for providing the following description:

设计师对这套修建于90年代末，原本分隔狭小的寓所进行了空间整合。在面积较小的区域使用大量镜面及透明墙体开阔视线，同时配合二层天窗的自然采光，利用镜面墙将阳光反射到采光不足的一层北向餐厅。

The Apartment is built in the 90s’, through restructuring, the fragmented space were integrated into a open space. At narrow spaces, mirrors were used to create depth, as well as reflecting sunlight to first floor, where natural lighting was poor.

隐匿于北京市区的设计师的家。没有定义风格，以明亮、放松、中性的原则进行设计。设计师坚信阳光的力量能让人这颗种子在家的土壤里更好的成长。

The Designer’s apartment is located in urban area of Beijing. It is freely styled to realize a comfortable and bright living space, because he believes sun light can nourish living soul.

将利用率较低的小阳台改造成视野开阔的厨房。

增加的壁柜用于隐蔽冰箱、洗衣机及大量杂物和管道，由此释放的原储物间空间改造成了工作区。

Balcony were repurposed into a kitchen with large window.

Closet were designed to accommodate not only household odds, but washer, refregirator and all the utility pipes that were originally exposed; as a result, the old storage room where freed up, and became a working space.

明亮、放松、中性、阳光的力量

是阳光照亮了人，人发出光照亮了家。

It is light that brighten the man who lives here, and in return the man made the home shine.

原储物间空间改造成了工作区。
扩大增高的天窗玻璃同时也是水雾降温日光浴平台。

The old storage room where freed up, and became a working space.

Roof window were raised, making it a platform for sun bathing. It is also equipped with a water sprayer in order to lower temperatures in a very hot day.

影音室与预留的娱乐区域连为一体，适合三五好友席地而坐，沙发床也能提供1-2个人的临时住宿需求。

Audio-video room and leisure area were connected. It accommodates 3-5 person lying or sitting. The couch can provide temporary bed for 2 person.

置于小空间内的卧室营造出阁楼小屋放松的睡眠气氛，披着月光入眠再被阳光唤醒。

The bedroom were designed to create an aura of attic, with moon light came through at night and sun light in the morning.
