Stockholm Furniture Fair

Netframe is a sofa and an easy chair designed by the design duo Cate & Nelson for Offecct.

Cate & Nelson’s idea behind Netframe was to create a piece of furniture that consumes as little material as possible while maintaining a high comfort.

– In order to succeed with this challenge we had to turn everything upside down in the development process. We wanted it to be easy to produce with minimal time and material usage. Netframe was developed into a very comfortable piece of furniture with extremely low impact on the environment.

The design philosophy of Cate & Nelson, who are working with Offecct for the first time, is based on sustainability. Sustain- ability is also one of the corner stones of Offecct ́s research and development process, which has resulted in a good coopera-tion between Offecct and Cate & Nelson.

– Netframe is a product that is distinguished by transparency and responsibility and reflects the way we see our role in the surrounding society, says Kurt Tingdal, CEO, Offecct.
