位于香港维港海旁由KPF主导设计并携手过百家建筑师，设计师及艺术家共同打造的Victoria Dockside城市综合体中的商业部分8月底终于揭开帷幕！作为一个新的文化零售综合体，K11 MUSEA将成为香港和亚洲的新文化零售地标，吸引全球最受瞩目的千禧一代消费者。

K11 MUSEA, Hong Kong’s Silicon Valley of Culture, celebrated its opening in August. This new cultural-retail destination situates in the heart of Hong Kong’s US$2.6 billion Victoria Dockside development, master-planned and designed by KPF, together with 100 Creative Powers spanning from local and international architects, designers and artists. Described as “out-of-this-world cultural-retail destination, it was designed to bring immersive ‘phygital’ shopping experience to global millennials, and sparked a broader discussion on the interconnectedness of creativity, culture and innovation.

K11 MUSEA的命名来自“A Muse by the Sea”的商业概念, 希望透过商业与艺术的结合，鼓励人们置身其中发现属于自己的灵感缪斯，把丰富的文化内容带到尖沙咀海滨。取自轻波作浪的概念，K11 MUSEA的建筑呈波浪型，丰富的动感呼应了其滨水的位置关系，退台的设置创造出各式的户外露台供访客休闲娱乐。外墙糅合了玻璃，石材及绿意外墙，其中内部及外部绿意外墙总面积超过50,000平方英尺，为世界上最大的绿意外墙。与此同时，MUSEA的另一个建筑亮点是占地2000平方英尺的水帘舞台，具备特色灯光设备及环绕式水幕，为文化体验计划KULTURE11的众多文化活动提供了一个理想的场地。

K11 MUSEA – a name inspired by A Muse by the Sea for its retail concepts – is set to reinvigorate the Tsim Sha Tsui harbour front with robust cultural content, inspiring visitors discover their own muse. K11 MUSEA’s façade draws inspiration from Hong Kong’s iconic harbour with a design that is fluid, vibrant and naturally inviting. Crafted from Portuguese limestone, glass and green wall, the façade is stepped to form an active hill of green terraces facing Kowloon and Victoria Harbour. Its façade will feature one of the world’s largest living walls, boasting a total surface area of over 50,000 square feet of greenery inclusive of the interior and exterior. Meanwhile, a one-of-a-kind outdoor amphitheater space and a large 25-foot-tall LED screen will also be in place for a slew of cultural happenings.

Derive from the concept of theater, K11 MUSEA’s atrium, the Opera Theatre, was a collaboration of KPF, AB Concept, LAAB and Speirs + Major. The space emphasizes fluidity and its lighting design resembles a galaxy, creating a “galaxy of creativity” through its synergy effect of glam, establishing a dramatic experience upon entrance.

该项目已取得绿色建筑预认证，包括美国LEED（金）和香港BEAM Plus（金）标准。为香港的绿色设计树立了新的标杆。其他亮点包括提供100％灌溉水的雨水收集，利用海水冷却的空调系统等。与严格的美国ASHRAE 90.1标准的基线相比，每年能耗降低12％以上。

The Project has achieved new green building pre-certifications including the U.S. LEED (Gold) and the Hong Kong BEAM Plus Provisional green building certifications. MUSEA sets a new benchmark for green design in Hong Kong. Other features include rainwater harvesting which provides 100% of irrigation water and a seawater-cooled, oil-free HVAC chiller system, which reduces annual energy consumption by over 12% compared to the baseline of the stringent U.S. ASHRAE 90.1 standard.
