Appreciation towards Framework Studio for providing the following description:

Framework Studio曾为George家族的餐厅设计了所有的门店，此次的项目致力于打造出与以往完全不同的风格。项目场地虽没有浓烈的都市氛围，但它位于阿姆斯特尔车站附近，骑车至De Pijp或Oud Zuid旧城区仅需几分钟。

Framework Studio designed all restaurants for the George Family in the past and wanted this George to be different from all the others. The location is less ‘city like’ while it is near Amstel station and just a few minutes by bike from De Pijp neighbourhood or Oud Zuid.

“Marina”是阿姆斯特丹餐饮品牌George旗下的新成员。George的每间餐厅使用了共通的设计元素，却各自拥有不同的特征。Marina坐落在阿姆斯特尔河岸，门前的优美海港为整个餐厅带来了与航海有关的视觉元素。

“Marina” is a new venue of the Amsterdam based restaurant group George. All George restaurants have design elements in common, but all of them have their own speciality in Amsterdam. Marina is situated on the banks of the Amstel River and has a beautiful harbour in front which gives to the restaurant and its view a nautic scenery.

Marina的设计不太容易定性：它并非北欧风格，却有着北欧餐厅固有的简洁外观和浅色木材元素；它并非工业风格，却融合了石板墙壁、混凝土地面、钢制立面和各类植物等多样化的元素；它并非那种复杂精致的餐厅，却又有着做工精细的皮革沙发、黄铜灯饰、藤条元素、大理石台面以及定制的桌椅。这些元素共同为Marina赋予了与众不同的特质，使其拥有了来自世界各地的氛围，在其中我们看不到太多迎合“时代精神”的设计。

Marina is a restaurant that is hard to place in a design corner. Its not Scandinavian, but has the clean look and pale wood that Scandinavian restaurants are famous for. It is not industrial, but has all the style elements as flagstone walls, concrete floors, steel facades and lots of plants. It is not a sophisticated restaurant, but has detailed leather couches, brass lighting, rattan screens and elements, marble bar and design stools and tables. All the elements make Marina unique and give to the place a mix of cosmopolitan ambiance. The Zeitgeist design, which you see so much, does not belong to this project.
