地球上居住着65亿人，有些人是你至亲和朋友，而有的人只是你生活中的路人，究竟是什么让这些关联和吸引发生？而在宇宙中，太阳系在银河系中运转，太阳在太阳系中运转，地球发生着公转…..人，是宇宙的一部分。以此天体等现象为灵感和理念，Saniyo创作出一套适用于日常生活的组合餐具系列，作为我们生活中甜蜜的存在，提醒我们珍惜与家人和朋友在一起的时光。在这个无限宇宙中的有限空间内，我们彼此分享，心怀感激。

2011年成立在香港的Saniyo是一家富有创新理念的公司，他们信奉LESS IS MORE–少就是多。Gathering是Saniyo在2014年推出的套餐餐具系列。东京设计周上闪耀登场。

form the designer : In this world of 6.5 billion of habitants, what explains that some people are your family and friends while some people are just passers-by in your life ? it is something links/connects/attracts /brings us together. Compared to the solar system, the galaxy, the sun or any other astronomical phenomena such as eclipse, earth revolution, asterism…. We, human being are part of the universe.

In our series of party ware, we borrow the concepts of these astronomical objects and phenomena and hope this would bring a little inspiration to our everyday lives. And also as a sweet reminder, to remind us to cherish the time we spend together with our friends and family. As in this immense universe with infinite space, at least are sharing a good time with our beloved ones.

ABOUT Saniyo

Established in 2011, Saniyo is a company with great enthusiasm based by an experimental and innovative mindset. On the one hand, we act as a sourcing agent for clients in gift and premium items. On the other hand, we cooperate with a design studio to work on own brand items.  The philosophy behind our brand’s design is LESS IS MORE – to be simplistic and minimal. We strive to supply items that are socially responsible and sustainable in terms of function and aesthetics. We choose environmental friendly materials such as ceramic, which is taken from the earth and has less carbon release relatively during the preparation process (for example, using natural gas in kiln). As a result, the production processdoesn’t generate severe chemical/harmful substances to workers.   Our first design collection is a set of partyware named as “gathering” and is launched in April 2014. Our collection “gathering” has acquired a very positive feedback and is highlighted as one of the featured items from theJudge in the Design Tokyo Fair 2014. These have motivated us to work harder and better.
