Appreciation towards Gallery by ORA for providing the following description:

来自建筑师 | Architects’ note

本项目位于捷克的兹诺伊莫（Znojmo），是一个面向公众的当代艺术展示空间。同时，它也为当地的社区提供了一个聚集场所，可作为社区工作坊、室内剧院或是演讲空间使用。鉴于本项目的主要功能还是公共画廊，设计团队便使用弯曲的钢板打造了一个独特的入口空间，邀请人们入内一探究竟。

At the beginning, the idea was to create a space for exhibiting contemporary art in Znojmo and thus make it accessible to the general public. At the same time we designed a space that will serve as a base for the local association, space for community workshops, chamber theater or lectures. Because it’s mainly a public gallery, we have designed a distinctive entrance portal made of bent steel sheets, which invites you to explore the interior.

借助立面上的大窗户，画廊内的景象融入了街景。路过的行人不必亲自入内，便可以通过窗户窥探到画廊的一二。

The gallery is projected into the street thanks to large windows. You do not have to enter, you can only peek.

设计团队还在画廊内设置了一个小咖啡厅，以确保项目的经济可持续性。不同的功能融合在一起，相互影响。各空间仅通过材料的颜色深浅来进行区分：咖啡厅的材料颜色较深，而画廊空间的材料颜色较浅。咖啡厅内遍布着展示架系统，以便于展示捷克独有的高品质设计；画廊则较为空旷，为今后不同的空间布局奠定了基础。

There is also a small café that ensures the economical sustainability of the project. These different functions blend together and influence each other, the borders are marked only by the shade of the material – dark part for the cafe, light for the gallery. While the café space is heavily filled with a shelf system for displaying quality Czech design, the gallery space is empty and versatile.

来自画廊 | Gallery’s note

GaP画廊空间是一个新型的文化空间，旨在培养兹诺伊莫市上的人们对艺术的兴趣，提高他们对艺术的品位和鉴赏能力。该画廊由兹诺伊莫艺术协会（Art to Znojmo Association）负责运营，从而鼓励社区就视觉艺术和其他类别的艺术进行深入的思考和交流。GaP画廊空间的文化活动内容丰富，形式多样。

GaP / Gallery and Space is a new cultural space which aims to educate the public about art and to keep the interest in art alive in the town of Znojmo. GaP is run by the Art to Znojmo Association (Umění do Znojma Association), which wanted to create a friendly community that would meet intensively (not only) over visual art. GaP’s program of cultural events is rich and very diverse.

除展览外，这里还为音乐会、戏剧表演、儿童和成人的艺术课程、讲座、电影放映、音乐之夜和阅读等活动提供了场所。该画廊希望在对公众开放的同时，进行高质量的文化活动。除了两个展室外，画廊内还设有一个咖啡厅、一间工作室、一个联合办公空间、一间图书室和一个售卖着杰出艺术作品的艺术商店等。

In addition to exhibitions, events like concerts, theater performances, art courses for children and adults, lectures, film screenings, evenings focused on music, readings and more are taking place here. GaP wants to be open to the public and maintain a high quality of cultural events at the same time. Apart from two exhibition rooms, there is also a café, a studio, a co-working space, a library and a design shop, which offers the products of outstanding brands, such as Rückl or Dechem.
