一个模块化的居所
A Modular Dwelling

BOX是为适应户外营地住宿需求设计的模块化居所。以集装箱建筑为原型，我们设定了两个基本尺寸的箱体模块。为了获得更好的居住体验模块被加宽加高，但依然保留了集装箱的特性：标准化，预制化，易运输。一种模块是长宽高6m x 3m x 3m的长方体，主要作为起居模块使用（设备管线比较简单，模块内部不需防水）。另一种是长宽高3m x 3m x 3m的正方体，主要作为用水模块使用（设备管线复杂，模块内部需防水处理）。

G-BOX is a modular dwelling designed to accommodate demands for living on outdoor campgrounds. Using container architecture as its prototype, we have prescribed two basic sizes for the modules. They are made wider and higher in order to obtain better spacial experience， while still maintaining the characteristics of containers: standardized, prefabricated, and transportable. One module is a rectangular box(6m x 3m x 3m) primarily used as a living module which has simpler mechanical ducts and requires no interior waterproofing work. The other is a cubic box(3m x 3m x 3m) mainly serving as a water-using module which has more complex mechanical ducts and requires interior waterproofing work.

起居模块的内部可根据需求灵活容纳双人间卧室，四人间上下床，榻榻米客厅等布置方式。用水模块则可作为卫生间，厨房，公共淋浴间，设备间等使用。

Base on demand, the interior of the living module can be flexibly configured to accommodate different layouts, such as double-bed bedrooms, quadruple rooms with bunk beds, or tatami-style living rooms etc. The water-using module, on the other hand, can function as bathrooms, kitchens, public shower rooms, or equipment rooms.

灵活性
Flexibility

用水模块作为一个驳接枢纽模块（hub）存在，将其与起居模块进行连接组合，可以形成多样的户型和布局组合方式，给模块的组织形式增添了多种可能性。户型灵活：两种箱体都设有多个标准化的接口，配合定制的标准连接件的使用，箱体之间可以灵活对接，从而形成如双人间、四人间、套房、公共淋浴间、接待空间等功能各异，大小不同的户型组合。

The water module functions as a connecting hub. By linking the living modules to it, a variety of unit layouts can be formed, adding numerous possibilities to the organization of modules. Flexible Unit Types: Both types of modules are equipped with several standardized portals. When used with customized connectors, the modules can be flexibly connected to form unit types of various functions and shapes, such as double rooms, quadruple rooms, suites, public shower rooms, and reception spaces.

组团灵活：多个户型由栈道平台串联在一起，可以根据场地轮廓和地形高差形成相应的组团。栈道是组团内的交通网络，同时也是系统设备管线铺设的路径。
重组灵活：箱体可搬迁至其他的位置，并可重新组合以适应新的使用需求和地形。

Flexible network: Units are connected by a plank road platform. It can form a network corresponding to the site outline and terrain. The plank road serves as both the road system within the network and the path for laying equipment pipelines.

Flexible Reconfiguration: The boxes can be relocated to other locations and reconfigured to adapt to new demand and terrain.

建造
Construction

相较于传统的建造方式，预制化的模式使得整体的施工速度得到大幅提升。箱体在工厂建造的同时，现场管线和栈道的铺设可以同步进行。箱体的结构、设备、内外饰面等组装工作都在工厂内完成，运输到现场进行吊装，接入已经预埋好的设备管线即可。

Compared with traditional construction methods, the prefabricated model significantly accelerates the overall construction speed. While the boxes are being built in the factory, the construction of on-site pipelines and plank roads can be carried out simultaneously. The assembly work of the modules, including its structure, equipment, internal and external finishes, are all completed in the factory. After being transported to the site, the boxes only need to be hoisted and connected to the embedded pipelines to be put into use.

可持续性
Sustainability

方案采取贴近自然和可持续的策略。箱体的外表材料也大量采用了重竹材质，相对于普通木材，重竹具有高强度、更耐候、速生和固碳能力更佳的特性，也是一种可降解的材料。低矮的建筑高度和打散的组织方式使得建筑能更好的融入自然环境。建筑的基础形式类似于铁路轨道的轨枕形式，由预制混凝土条形构件放置于局部夯实的地基上，便于快速铺设和拆除，实现对自然场地最小程度的破坏和扰动。整个场地没有进行硬化，箱体和栈道都是架空方式，不影响场地的雨水渗透和呼吸。箱体和基础可以搬迁再利用的特性，尽可能延长了建筑的使用寿命，并且减少未来可能遗留在环境中的建筑垃圾。

The scheme adopts a nature-friendly and sustainable approach. For the exterior material of the modules, heavy bamboo is extensively used. Compared with ordinary wood, heavy bamboo boasts higher strength, better weather resistance, faster growth rate, and superior carbon sequestration capacity. It is also a biodegradable material. The low height and scattered layout also allow the modules to blend better into the natural environment. The foundation of the modules resembles the sleeper structure of railway tracks. It consists of prefabricated concrete strip components placed on rammed earth foundation, enabling quick installation and removal, minimizing damage and disturbance to the natural site. No hardening work is done on the entire site. Both the modules and plank roads are elevated, which does not affect the rainwater filtration and the “breathing” function of the site soil. The modules and their foundations can be relocated and reused, maximizing the lifespan of the building and reducing potential construction waste left in the environment in the future.
