DKC is a leading Russian technological company specializing in the development and manufacturing of innovative electrical equipment. The project represents a strategic shift for the brand, aiming to transcend its role as a manufacturer and establish itself as an open hub for engineering culture and knowledge exchange.

Business Objective

该项目源于打造一个面向公众的教育与活动空间的需求，即“工程师剧场（Engineering Amphitheatre）”。核心目标在于将一处原始的工业空间转化为一个灵活、现代且富有情感共鸣的场所，以适配讲座、展览、工作坊及专业对话等多种使用形式，从而推动工程技术与工程精神的传播与普及。

The initiative was driven by the need to create a public-facing educational and event platform—an “Engineering Amphitheatre.” The core directive was to transform a raw industrial space into a flexible, modern, and emotionally resonant environment that facilitates diverse formats: lectures, exhibitions, workshops, and professional dialogue, thereby popularizing engineering excellence.

空间布局
Spatial Layout

这一面积约 850 平方米的创新中心占据了一栋 1970 年代工厂建筑的上下两层。空间组织以一座醒目的亮红色阶梯式剧场为核心——这一雕塑般的空间装置在功能与视觉上贯通上下楼层，并可容纳最多 50 人同时使用。首层作为开放式展览空间，用于展示产品与技术成果；二层则设置了大型会议室、小型会议空间、咖啡吧及配套服务区域。整体布局强调开放性、灵活性与流动性，尽量避免生硬的隔断，以完整保留历史建筑的原有空间尺度与体量感。

The 850 sq.m. hub occupies two floors of a 1970s factory building. The spatial organization is centered around a dominant, bright-red amphitheatre—a sculptural element that functionally and visually connects both levels, providing seating for up to 50 people. The ground floor serves as an open exhibition area for showcasing products and technologies. The upper floor houses a large meeting room, smaller conference rooms, a coffee point, and service areas. The layout emphasizes openness, flexibility, and fluid movement, avoiding rigid partitions to maintain the integrity of the historical volume.

设计理念
Design Concept

整体设计理念可概括为“工业与艺术的对话”。设计直接回应建筑强烈的工业遗产特质，将原有的结构体系——裸露的钢屋架、混凝土表面以及锯齿形天窗——完整保留，并作为最核心的美学基础。在这一温润的中性灰色“背景”之上，引入了极具当代感的亮红色阶梯剧场，形成强烈对比，既塑造出鲜明的视觉焦点，也象征着创新能量注入历史空间的过程。

The overarching concept is a “Dialogue between Industry and Art.” The design engages directly with the building’s powerful industrial heritage. The existing structural skeleton—exposed steel roof trusses, concrete surfaces, and sawtooth skylights—was preserved and celebrated as the primary aesthetic layer. Against this neutral, warm-grey “canvas,” a bold, contemporary intervention is introduced: the vibrant red amphitheatre. This contrast creates a dramatic focal point and symbolizes the energy of innovation entering a historical shell.

项目中一项兼具技术性与艺术性的关键设计，是嵌入历史钢桁架中的定制灯光系统。特别设计的“梁式”灯具穿插于金属结构的开口之中，并以富有节奏感的组合方式布置，使原本纯粹的工程结构转化为光艺术与空间节律的载体。与此同时，声学吸音板的引入有效提升了以听觉体验为主的活动舒适度，同时避免破坏空间的通透感与视觉轻盈性。

A key technological and artistic feature is the custom lighting integrated into the historic trusses. Specially designed “beam” luminaires are threaded through openings in the metalwork, assembled into rhythmic clusters, transforming the engineering structure into an element of light art and spatial rhythm. Acoustic panels ensure comfort for auditory-focused events without compromising the visual lightness.
