该两层公寓坐落在德国美因茨附近，建于50年代，其前身是一家家具店。几年前，当地一个建筑师买下了这家店铺并改造成两个双层公寓和一个办公区。我们负责其中一个公寓的内部装修。业主是一对年轻夫妇，他们有一些旧家具。但是这些家具偏冷色调且过于单调，与该公寓的风格不太相符。夫妇二人希望新家能营造一种温暖感、并具有自己的特色。根据业主的要求，我们采用巨幅挂帘将大客厅与餐厅隔开，带来更加舒适的居住体验。大幅窗帘还能阻挡外部视线，有助于保护隐私。同时还采用了木质家具及装饰件，如餐桌、餐具柜、一层的沙发床及红色座椅。此外，我们还负责挑选艺术装饰品，甚至向业主建议应如何在室内摆放合适的绿植。该公寓的特点之一是旧家具与新元素的结合，如起居室里设计了漂亮的桃红色电视柜，工作室的走廊上用美丽的灯饰加以装饰。

This two floor apartment is located in the surrounding of Mainz ( city in Germany ). It was built in the 50ies and in former times it was a furniture store. Few years ago it was bought by a local architect and he transform it into two “Two floor” Apartments and one office area. We were responsible for the furnishing, lighting, art, fabrics, decoration and styling for one of the two “Two floor” Apartments. We were called by our clients, a young couple, and they asked us for advice. They still had some furniture of their latest apartment, but it doesn’t fit into this interior. Everything was very “cold” and to clean in their interior. They wanted to get a “warmer” feeling and a special and personal note. We try to give the huge living and dining room area a cosier feeling by inventing and using a curtain system, where you are able to separate the living room from the dining room. Now, there is a feeling of shelter and because of the curtains in front of the huge windows you are protected from views from the outside. We also use a lot of vintage furniture and accessories, like the dining table, the sideboard, the daybed in the first floor and the red chair. We were also responsible for choosing some art pieces and objects and we give the owners some advices, what kind of plants they can use and how they can arrange them ( even flowers ). We combine the old furniture with some new pieces like the “Montana” board for the tv in the living room which is beautiful peach-rosé coloured and the very beautiful lights in the hallway from “Ladies and Gentlemen Studio”.
