芬兰建筑师马可．卡萨格兰（Marco Casagrande）2011年于台北设计之竹编有机建筑作品CICADA荣获2012德国红点设计大奖（Red Dot Award）

本届大赛竞争激烈，共吸引全球来自五十八个国家一千八百个参赛团队四千五百多件单项作品角逐红点荣衔。经三十位国际评审严格美学观点省视与定义下一波设计潮流新势下，CICADA喜报佳音。C-Lab 团队特别要向长期支持Marco的忠泰集团常董李彦良先生和其团队成员深深致谢，让此昆虫建筑得以实现。马可在2007年旅居台北三芝其间住颓圮荒芜的制茶工厂，向占领废墟的昆虫学习建筑之方法，并具体实践出来。亲手设计的Cicada按壶泥蜂虫穴为本，以竹子作为组编材料，回收建筑废料水泥和碎玻璃铺陈内外地表。周围植上牵牛爬藤植物，依随时序变换有机衣裳，为车水交通不息的人流乍现一道绿光。信步入内，燠热的烈阳灭威，城市的嚣闹渐消。这是让都市人回归自然的小宇宙，一个宁静的处所，身心灵能些微放空之地。入夜生起篝火，像盏明灭

悠忽的灯笼，营围挑动人在地球上几千年的求生延代的原始基因，浮游着回归天地的潜意识。此时最适拉把小凳开怀夜谈，小酌三两杯，仿佛遗落尘世的混浊。Marco提出对当代建筑深刻思索《第三代城市》中倡议设计废墟使人造物和大自然合而为一，Cicada作为昙花一现的公共空间，所用材料将再度回归天地，体现夏蝉生时大鸣大放代代不息的场所精神。

CICADA

得奖者小介

马可．卡萨格兰( Marco Casagrande )，1971年生于芬兰，2001年毕业于赫尔辛基科技大学获硕士学位，主修建筑及都市规划，随即自行开业建筑事务所。并独见著述《第三代城市》、《都市针灸术》、《终极废墟》、《都市河流学》等建筑思想。2000年起担任教职，跨学科的教学方法，游离于建筑设计、生态都市规划及环境艺术之间。截至2011年为止，已在芬兰、欧洲、亚洲、北美、澳洲….等全球十四个国家三十余所建筑和艺术相关科系大学任教。

他曾连续三届参加威尼斯建筑双年展（2000、2004、2006），其他重要展览包括：哈瓦那双年展、横滨三年展、欧州及日本建筑新趋势展、斐冷翠双年展、北海道Demeter展、蒙特立尔双年展、玻多黎各双年展、阿拉斯加设计研讨会、日本越后妻有艺术三年展、台北欧洲论坛会、赫尔辛基艺术节、伦敦建筑双年展、台北城市行动、台湾移动地貌展、台湾设计博览会、深圳香港城市\建筑双城双年展….等。专业建筑生涯期间获得的重要奖项则包括：2012 德国红点设计大奖、2011、2009 世界建筑社群奖（World Architecture Community Awards ）、2010英国建筑评论House Award特别推荐、2009世界建筑节最佳单体房舍特别提名、2005拜卡维尔奖（Byker Wall Award）、2004维多莉亚州设计奖、2001麦维迪宏件筑奖（Mies van der Rohe Award ）、1999英国建筑评论杂志新进关注建筑奖（ArchitecturalReview´s Emerging Architecture Award ）

2004年创立Casagrande Laboratory（C-Lab,C 实验室）担任主持人。

C 实验室目前以芬兰为基地，结合来自世界各地各领域建筑师、都市规划专家、艺术家及科学家所组成的建筑实验室。作为空间的设计者，C实验室关怀大自然和人类间有机的连结，为更美好的未来环境倾注心力，关心废墟生态和地土之间的关系。其基进并独具美学思惟之建筑与跨领域艺术作品，获得世界建筑与艺术圈广泛关注。

2010年初忠泰建筑文化艺术基金会与C 实验室合作筹画独立于体制之外的另类废墟建筑学院。期以劳动换取在地知识，以汗水对抗设计。建立自然与人造物间和谐共生之第三代城市(The Third GenerationCity) 理想居住环境为研究志业。

CICADA

Cicada is an organic void in the mechanical texture of modern Taipei, a cocoon for post- industrial metamorphosis for industrial insects. The architecture is based on the Local Knowledge of human scale flexible bamboo structures containing a high level of improvisation and insect mind – Open Form. As one enters the Cicada, the surrounding city disappears. The cocoon is an interior space but totally outside – it is breathing, vibrating, soft and safe. The space will swallow the modern man and will offer him a possibility to travel a thousand years back in order to realize, that the things are the same. Cicada is insect architecture and the space is a public sphere.

This unique environmental art work also acted as an urban acupuncture for Taipei city penetrating the hard surfaces of industrial laziness in order to reach the original ground and get in touch with the collective Chi, the local knowledge that binds the people of Taipei basin with nature. The cocoon of Cicada is an accidental mediator between the modern man and reality. There is no other reality than nature.
