项目名称：众包玩具Blockhuk

“Blockhuk” 是一个由大量木质单元组成的众包玩具,增强版的乐高。它把设计师的角色让位给了玩家，让不同的玩家自下而上的设计出属于自己的建筑结构。

“Blockhuk” is a crowd-sourcing system, an alternative to LEGO toy, a massive population of wooden units that allows users to participate in design process towards a bottom-up open source architecture.

和参数化设计中大量定制化的单元构件不同。“Blockhuk”只有一种单元，却仍然能通过重新思考组合化的系列重复来构成极其复杂的结构。同时一种单元类型也使得我们通过多样的装配方式重新定义标准化批量生产的潜力。在这个系统里，几何形式被看成是有着大量设计多样性的数据结构。

As opposed to the variable units described in a parametric model, “Blockhuk” is developed only by one type of unit. With the mere quantity of unit, the project attempts to “re-consider serial repetition in combinatorics” and re-define mass production by various assemblies, from which we could consider geometry as a data structure for a plethora of design variations.

“Blockhuk”单元的几何特性使得彼此可以严谨的组合在一起形成不同的集聚形态，从而进一步形成一种被Christopher Alexander称为的“模式语言”，不同的玩家可以开发出属于自己的几何层级：单元（字母），组合（词语），集聚（句子），和结构（段落）。

The geometrical properties of the unit allow them to hook up with each other to generate various types of aggregations, which further create what Christopher Alexander would call “Pattern Language”: with the geometrical hierarchy of letter, words sentences and paragraphs developed by each users in crowd-sourced community.

同时我们在游戏引擎“Unity3D”中继续发展这个系统，计算机的运算能力结合玩家本身的智能同时工作在短时间内可以产生大量的几何形式（数据），如同J.C.R.所提到的“人机共生”。

Also, we further develop the system in the game engine “Unity3D”, where algorithmic capability of computer and human intuition can work together simultaneously to generate huge amount of data in a very short time, what J.C.R. would call “Man-Computer Symbiosis”.
