业主王老师是个特别有趣的人，他把房子交给我们之后，几乎就已经消失不见了。房子的现状如链家所示，一室一厅一厨一卫。我们的工作除了增加一个卧室之外，其余功能不变，只需要稍稍调整长宽比例。

The owner of the house, Mr Wang, is an interesting guy. He almost vanished after he handed over the house to us. The status of the house is the same as what’s shown on Lianjia- a house with one bedroom, one living room, a kitchen, and a restroom. Our work is to add one more bedroom and adjust the length-to-width ratio while remain all the rest functions.

鉴于业主的生活习惯，将厨房调整为开放式并且扭转。卫生间已不能满足需求，将其拉长摁扁，保证卫生间各个区域都合适以给客厅提供更多的空间。扭转的厨房也为卫生间的拉长提供了条件。伸出来的餐桌将客厅半包裹起来。临近落地窗的餐桌尽量轻薄，不要给窗户太多压力。

Considering the living habits of the owner, the kitchen is adjusted to be open and rotatable. The restroom can’t meet the present needs, so we lengthened and narrowed it to provide more space for the living room. The rotatable kitchen also makes room for the lengthened restroom and the extensive dining table partly wraps the living room. The dining table close to the floor-to-ceiling window is light weight to reduce the stress to the window.
