玉林片区属于典型的老成都街区，这里市井、接地气又先锋前卫，聚集了很多有趣的人和店。街上商贩卖菜的吆喝声和咖啡馆的爵士音乐奇妙的混合在一起，天气好、有阳光的时候，更是像过年一样热闹。我们喜欢这样有活力、有生活气息的环境。也希望通过长驻街头，能从社区生活中吸取营养，实践、探索空间体验的更多可能性、完整性。

Yulin District belongs to a typical old Chengdu block. It is a market place, grounded and avant-garde, gathering many interesting people and shops. The street vendors’ shouts of vegetables and the jazz music of cafes mix together wonderfully. When the weather is good and there is sunshine, it is as lively as the Spring Festival. We like such a dynamic and living environment. We also hope that by staying on the street, we can absorb nutrition from community life and explore more possibilities and integrity of space experience.

项目位于玉林片区的芳华街，所处建筑为90年代修建的老居民楼底商。商铺面积很小，没有排水，且屋顶漏水，很多商业业态无法展开，但这正好适合我们！初期定位只是想单纯的做一间办公室。做方案的时候想法却越来越多，反复修改调整多次，最终确定为办公+快闪展厅。

The project is located in Fanghua Street in Yulin District, where contains old residential buildings of 1990s. The area of shop is very small, there is no drainage, and the roof leaks, many commercial formats can not be developed, but this is fine for us! At the initial stage, we just wanted it to be an office, but along with more and more ideas coming out when we start planning, the design had been modified for many times. Finally, we decided it to be the Office+Exhibition .

房屋原始结构为不规整的长方形，内部一个500mm高的地台把场地分割的更加破碎。我们试图在这个极小的空间里继续挖掘内在丰富情感表达的可能。通过植入墙体，增加门洞，重组新的围合区域，让场地更符合空间的功能定位。新增的纵向通道，也正好成为最佳的展示位置。

The original shape of the house is irregular rectangle, and a 50cm step inside the house break up the space. We try to explore more possibilities of emotional expression in this tiny space. By building walls, doorways and restructuring new enclosed areas, the space becomes more in line with the functional positioning. The new vertical channel turns into the best display location.

木头、陶砖、花岗岩都是容易让人产生亲近感的材料，配合肌理强烈的白色涂料，形成谦逊内敛的空间背景。阳光板的轻巧介入，让极小的空间里，依然能觅得独处的静谧。

Wood, ceramic tiles and granite are all natural materials that are easy to create a sense of intimacy. Together with the white paint with strong texture, they form a modest and restrained space background. The soft intervention of the sunlight board makes it possible to find tranquility in a very small space.

我们会不定期更新一些自己喜欢且和空间气质相符的物品在空间里展售，陶器、摄影、绘画、竹编、漆器等等。会认真挑选香薰和氛围音乐，希望给进店的客人营造完整、生动的空间体验。

From time to time, we will update some items that we like and match the temperament of the space, and display pottery, photography, painting, bamboo weaving, lacquerware in the space. We will also carefully select aromatherapy and background music, hoping to create a complete and vivid space experience for people entering the store.
